Description

Archon Interactive is a Danish indie-game company consisting of Casper Christiansen and Lucas Adelholm. They started out developing games for mobile, but are now developing for consoles and PC.

History

History

Casper Christiansen and Lucas Adelholm first met each other when they moved in together at GameIT College, a mix of a Higher Technical Examination (HTX) and game development school. Archon Interactive was founded in 2013 when they discovered that they liked making games together and had great teamwork. When first founded, they became part of Game Business, an association that aims to support new companies in the games industry and they were given a small office cubicle. Initially, they started collaborating with ClearCut Games (another company from the Game Business family) to make an educational game for mobile platforms. While they were working on that, they made a prototype of one of their other game ideas for a school assignement, which later became the game, High Explosive. When they weren't satisfied with the development in the collaboration, they left and started to work on High Explosive and aimed to make it their first release. Nichlas Nielsen joined Archon Interactive as they started to develop Rocket Wars, but left to start his own company after a short while. He continues to have an influence on the game.
